Are you still jailbreaking your iPhone? Over the weekend, Unc0ver jailbreak tool iOS 11 was released to iOS 13.5 via iOS accelerated versions.
Why imprison your device? Those who like and want to tinker and customize their iPhone can use AltStore and Cydia platforms again. The hackers claim that Unc0ver Jailbreak protects Apple’s user data while maintaining iOS sandbox security.
“Unc0ver is designed to be stable and release you from prison the moment you break your device. The built-in time policy policy software allows Apple to run the code without notarization and extensive restrictions, ”explains the Unc0ver website.
Unc0ver Hacking Group lead developer ‘Pwn20wnd’ told Wired, “This crash basically adds exceptions to existing rules,” adding that it only reads new jailbreak files and parts of the file system that do not contain user data.
The Jailbreak of iOS 13.5 is based on a zero-day kernel exploit, which means that the hacker group was able to exploit iOS and did not inform Apple before the risk was raised. Apple estimates it will take a few weeks to release a patch.
Unc0ver Jailbreak for iOS 13.5 is unrelated to the internal iOS 14 leak that has been circulating the internet for months, according to ‘Pwn20wnd.’ If Apple fails to detect kernel vulnerabilities before the release of iOS 14, Unc0ver is likely to crash the next version of iOS, which is expected to launch at WWDC next month.
If you’re ready to Jailbreak your iOS device, the current Unc0ver jailbreak tool runs from iOS 13.3.1 to iOS 13.5 for the following models:
